Edgar Awards — Fact Crime Nominee
In Light of All Darkness has been nominated for an Edgar Award by the Mystery Writers of America. Most of the Edgar Award categories are for fiction, but there is one non-fiction category, and it has some stellar candidates. I’m honored to be part of this group.
The winners will be announced in New York City on May 1 at an awards ceremony in Times Square. I hear it’s a black-tie affair, so my date—FBI Special Agent (retired) Eddie Freyer (my father-in-law)—is getting fitted for a tux and I’ve found a gown on Rent the Runway. (I haven’t worn a “gown” since my wedding.)
In the weeks leading up to the event, the MWA holds online talks with the nominees. The Fact Crime chat is on Thursday, April 11, 8:00 PM (EST). If you want to listen in to the conversation with John Glatt, Nathan Masters, Barbara Rae-Venter, Joe Sexton, and me, register here.
Congratulations to my fellow nominees. Honored to be in good company.
